I was recently looking for information regarding narcotic dog sniffing techniques to arm myself for a hearing and stumbled upon this gem. The website is http://www.forensic-evidence.com/It advertises itself as "AN INFORMATION CENTER IN FORENSIC SCIENCE, LAW AND PUBLIC POLICY FOR LAWYERS, FORENSIC SCIENTISTS, EDUCATORS, AND PUBLIC OFFICIALS". Sample topics include fingerprint identification, bite mark identification, firearm and toolmark evidence and dog scent evidence. Articles include experts and how to challenge under Daubert and Frye. There is a sign up feature for updates and it appears to be updated frequently with a wealth of information for all your forensic evidence needs.

I'm really not a fan of this type of resource. As a professional investigator these types of site lead people into thinking they're an expert in something they haven't even hit amateur level in.
I always advise a client to stick to the professionals!
